Viktor Trifonov, Executive Director of CJSC ER-Telecom Holding in Yoshkar-Ola

The name of our city Ioshkar-Ola appeared on TV quite often, and usually in entertainment programs as an association of a remote province lagging far behind civilization. But as soon as Ioshkar-Ola neighboured with the name of ER-Telecom, a new history of the city began. Four years ago the people of Ioshkar-Ola got acquainted with the company of the future.

Hopelessly monopolized telecom market squinted at the bright light of new technologies and was high on true customer-oriented service.
Whoever would believe what is happening without seeing it with one’s own eyes? This is all about the employees of our company, and about myself. Surprisingly, our team works in the atmosphere of complete understanding. Everyone, undoubtedly, contributes to common success and small conquests in different areas. I believe that involvement is the key source of mode pleasure.

What is the result? Clearly defined leadership positions of Divan-TV and Dom.ru among telecom operators in the capital of Mari El Republic!
Maybe it’s just looking for symbols, but in Mari language (the official language in the Republic) ER means “morning”, “dawn”. So, ER-Telecom has clearly added light to the people of Ioshkar-Ola. But most lucky are the people, who joined the Company ER-Telecom.

From my own experience I can say that my colleagues find it hard to recollect a single day, when they were unwilling to go to work. Having become a part of ER-Telecom team I was deeply impressed by the perception of the broad horizon of my opportunities if I give up the role of a passive onlooker. Ambiguous feeling of freedom from anybody’s will always yields to the passion of taking responsibility for one’s future. In the favorable atmosphere of the Holding I started to look at the world around me from a different angle. I enjoyed getting rid of clichés and found it easier to understand others and be understood, easier to be frank with myself.

In a very short while my colleagues and I started to neglect any secondary roles. I observed with surprise and delight, how people who had just joined the Company, wish to associate themselves with atmosphere of uniting leadership. The successes of our colleagues in other cities of the Project confirm my confidence that every new city of presence will be successful, and every goal will be attained. I stick to the opinion that what is not a flight is a fall. The glory of the flight makes the choice evident. The hot summer of 2010 is an excellent flying weather in ER-Telecom!
